You know, sometimes I wonder how some people even become parents. A pregnant 31-year-old woman from Buckley (in the Northern Lower Peninsula) was arrested on a third-offense drunk driving charge. Worse yet? She had her 2-year-old daughter in the car with her at the time.

According to the Traverse City Record-Eagle, Wexford County sheriff's deputies arrested the the unnamed woman Wednesday night after she crashed her car while being chased by police. Officers attempted to stop the her shortly after 10 p.m., the woman then drove off down a two-track road and crashed into some trees.

She's being held at the Wexford County jail on the drunken driving charge and for driving on a suspended license.

Mother of The Year, folks.
