It took 3 days, but power has finally been restored to all of the approximately 150,000 energy customers who lost power after Monday's storms.

Winds over 80mph led to down power lines and trees.  There was also one death, when a man in Cutlerville was pinned by a tree in his garage.

Woodtv.com gives us a rundown of when power was restored:

Midwest Energy Cooperative residents in southern Michigan near the Indiana border got the service back on Thursday.

More than 136,000  Consumers Energy customers were effected. All of this service was restored late Wednesday night.

Losing power for an extended period of time is tough.  It will give you a new appreciation for our modern conveniences, but it's about more than just that.  It can cost a lot of money to replace spoiled food and nobody likes stubbing their toe in the dark.  Glad everybody is powered back up.
