"Remember when MTV used to play videos?"

Before we spent TV time on the Jersey Shore or in Celebrity Rehab, we used to enjoy an endless stream of our favorite music videos, sometimes enhanced with fun facts about the artist or the video in little balloons on "Pop Up Videos".

VH1 announced today it has ordered 60 new episodes of the show, with the original show's co-creator Woody Thompson to deliver us all new fun things to know and share about our favorite videos from back in the day.

The new version will also feature more content with rap and hip hop artists, which wasn't a part of the regular music content on VH1 during the show's original run. As well, new online and social media elements will be added.

Do you have a favorite "Pop Up Video" ? This one's mine...
