According to our media partners over at WZZM-13, Ottawa County Sheriff's Department investigators are looking into an attempted fire-bombing that occurred Monday night in Holland.

The incident reportedly occurred around 8:30pm Monday at Leisure Estates Mobile Home Community.

Investigators told WZZM that a 33-year-old man and his wife heard something hit the side of their house, and when they went out to investigate, they found a bottle filled with flammable liquid. The bottle, luckily, did not ignite upon impact with the home.

The man called the Sheriff's Department in to investigate further. According to the man, about two hours later, a green van or SUV pulled up in front of the home, and one of the occupants exited the vehicle. The occupant then flashed a gun, and threatened the man, who then went inside and called the Ottawa County Sheriff's Department again.

Investigators are asking for help in identifying the suspects in these incidents.  Anyone with information should call Silent Observer at 1-877-88 -SILENT or visit http://mosotips.com/contactus.aspx .
