Remember those mechanical baby dolls we had to take care of while we were in school? They looked and acted SO real. So I guess it's understandable why everyone thought this doll was actually a baby.

Last month, police in New Hampshire got multiple calls about a baby left in a hot car in the parking lot of a Walmart. The baby was laying in a car seat with a blanket over it.

Cops responded immediately. The cop who was on scene said he saw the windows closed and the baby looked lifeless. He broke the glass with his baton and started to give the baby CPR.

But something wasn't right.

And I went to put my finger in its mouth and it was all resistance,” he said. “And I'm like, 'This is a doll.'”

Sigh of relief.

The baby was actually a reborn doll belonging to a woman from Vermont who admits she started collecting these dolls after her son died.

Police have agreed to pay for the damage to the window and the woman has since made a custom bumper sticker for her car to avoid any confusion in the future.
