Over 3,000 People Without Power in Comstock Park

At least 3,000 Consumers Energy customers in the Comstock Park area are without power this morning.

The outage, which can be seen on Consumers Energy's outage map affects an area north of I-96 along Alpine Avenue to West River Drive.

At this time, it's not clear when the power will be restored or what caused the outage in the first place. The outage map states that the outage happened just after 9:30 a.m., and the status of the outage is "Awaiting Assessment."
