Out Of This World: Cosmic Gold Medals Handed Out At The Olympics [Video]

Remember the meteor that blew up over Russia last year? Well, athletes who win first place at this year's Winter Olympics on February 15th will get gold medals embedded with the meteor!

How cool is that? It might be the nerd in me, but I think that's cooler than the gold itself, even though the gold medals are actually made up of sterling silver.

Also, did you know that the word gymnasium comes from the Greek word 'gymnos,' which means 'naked?' Ancient Greeks actually competed completely NUDE! Today we find this with elderly people walking around awkwardly naked in our local gym locker rooms!
