This story shows the humanity we should all show for each other. It crosses many lines, religious, racial and it happened in Ohio!!

When Mark Ross found out his teenage sister had been killed in a car accident, he wanted to get to his mom’s side as soon as possible. So he convinced a friend to drive him from Indiana to Detroit, Michigan. He writes in a Facebook post that as they were speeding through Ohio, they saw flashing lights behind them.

With all that's going on in the world, Ross, who is African American feared the worst, and started recording the traffic stop. What happened next gives me chills. The good kind.

Ross was in the passenger seat when Trooper J. Davis pulled them over and Inside Edition reports that the driver had a suspended license and an outstanding warrant, so he was taken into custody and the car was towed and that left Ross stranded in Ohio. But when he explained his story to Ohio State Patrol Sergeant David Robison, his luck changed.

“I broke down crying and he saw the sincerity in my cry,” Ross writes. “He offered to bring me 100 miles further to Detroit. He gave me hope.” And Robison kept his word, taking Ross all the way to be with his family and they’re all extremely grateful for his generosity.
