While the election was going on here in the U.S. a woman half way around the world decided that she needed to make sure that the names Barack Obama and Mitt Romney were tied together forever. At least in her small village in Kenya. Millicent Owuor, a 20-year-old new mother in Kenya gave birth to twin boys while people around her celebrated Obama's reelection. And what did she name them? Mitt Romney and Barack Obama.

According to the BBC, Millicent lives close to the village of Kolego, which is where Barack Obama's father was born. Turns out, there were a lot of babies named after Barack Obama born at that particular hospital recently. But, I'm pretty sure that only one of them has a twin brother named Mitt Romney.

Millicent told the BBC, "I named the first twin Barack and the second one Mitt". She said she named the boys after the U.S. Presidential candidates because she wanted to remember the day of the vote.
