Multiple Car Accident On Northbound US 31

With nearly 24 hours of snowfall across the region, accidents have been piling up throughout West Michigan.  WZZM 13 is reporting that police are currently dealing with multiple accidents on US 31 in Muskegon County.

It is being reported that between 15 and 30 vehicles are involved in an accident between Broadway and Laketon.  Multiple drivers have been transported to area hospitals with one patient being reported as seriously injured.

This incident comes less than 24 hours from a 20+ vehicle accident on I-96.  The pileup on I-96 caused the freeway to close, but no one was injured in the accident.
