Skinny jeans and leggings are a norm. Girls (and even some guys) love wearing skinny jeans but a school district in North Carolina is now putting a ban on them.

Fox News says that after some "bigger girls" were getting bullied, the New Hanover County School System is proposing a ban on any tight fitting pants unless a long top is worn that "covers the posterior area in its entirety."

The district took the idea to their Twitter page where they received a ton of backlash from both students and parents.

People feel as if the school isn't actually addressing the bullying but rather avoiding it.

The Vice Chairwoman of the school said:

...because of the number of comments coming in, she would likely recommend the proposal be brought back to the policy committee for more discussion."

How do you feel about this? Should skinny jeans and leggings be banned?
