Nicki Minaj + Tyga Embarking on Overseas Tour

Nicki Minaj is currently wowing audiences in the States with her Pink Friday: Reloaded tour and she has big plans in store for her Barbz overseas. “We’re finishing up the summer tour with 2 Chainz in America and then we’re doin’ the overseas tour with Tyga,” Minaj revealed to MTV News.

After earning her stripes on tour with Lil Wayne for a number of years, it’s good to see the ‘Starships’ rapper headlining her own trek and handpicking artists who she wants to hit the road with. “I’m very, very excited about that. This is the first time I get to tour with somebody from Young Money, since I branched out on my own,” says Minaj about her touring partner.

No word on when her U.K. tour will begin. She recently informed her Barbz on Twitter that she is postponing her fall tour during a top-secret recording session. “When the barbz find out ‘why’ I’m starting the fall tour a bit later, they will be VERY happy. #secretgang,” she tweeted on Wednesday (Aug. 1).

In the meantime, Tyga is headlining his Closer to My Dreams tour next month. The North American trek kicks off Sept. 4 in Los Angeles and wraps up Sept. 23 in Boston. Also on the bill are rap sensation Iggy Azalea, ‘Drank In My Cup’ artist Kirko Bangz and ‘Cashing Out’ rapper Ca$h Out.
