If we made a list of all of the lists Grand Rapids has been named to, you'd have to set aside some time for reading because the list would be very long.

The attention Grand Rapids has been receiving is showing no signs of slowing down.

Today, the New York Times has named Grand Rapids one of "52 Places to Go in 2016."

The list includes dozens of countries, small cities, major cities and only a handful of locations in the United States.

Grand Rapids lands at number 20 on the list. The New York Times says:

The early 20th-century furniture companies Herman Miller and Steelcase established a creative community in central Michigan’s Grand Rapids, one now flourishing thanks to a confluence of urban revival and arts funding.

They also mention Grand Rapids Downtown Market, Frederik Meijer Gardens, ArtPrize and that "40 craft breweries line the city’s ale trail."

All things we are familiar with and happy to continue to introduce to the rest of the world.
