The New Way Parents Are Punishing Their Kids

It is no secret that kids are obsessed with their gadgets and always have been. If it is something new in the technological world kids are going to want it.

Because of this, the new way parents are punishing their children is by making them watch TV.

No, we aren't kidding. According to a survey from Miner & Co, 58% of kids have their own tablet, and 41% of parents believe their kid would choose their tablet over dessert.

Because of this, almost half of parents say that they punish their children by taking away their favorite gadgets like their smart phones and iPads, and then in turn make them watch TV instead.

One kid interviewed by Miner and Co said:

"The iPad's cool, TV isn't that good because you can't control it.  Basically, the TV sucks."
