The 'Ghostbusters' reboot is hitting theaters July 15th, and the other night we heard from the original cast of Bill Murray, Dan Aykroyd and Ernie Hudson who sang praises for Molly McCarthy, Kirsten Wiig, Leslie Jones and Kate McKinnon in their roles.  So have fans chilled out any?  Maybe, until the new theme song was released.  As you remember the original was sung by Ray Parker Jr. and set the tone for the 'Ghostbusters' movies.

The new theme was recorded by Fall Out Boy with Missy Elliot and is called “Ghostbusters” (I’m Not Afraid).  If you’re looking for nostalgia, you might want to listen to Ray Parker Jr.’s version again… although, I’m digging the new theme.  It’s very ‘Fall Out Boy’-ish (bc they sound the same all the time) but it’s got a good vibe and MISSY!  Although, not everyone is feeling the same as I am.

As of the time of this posting, the video has 3,888,694 views with 68,338 likes and 73,688 dislikes. So, much like when the movie trailer hit YouTube, it’s getting its fair share of dislike.  The movie trailer currently holds the title of the “Most Disliked Movie Trailer in YouTube History”

What do you think of the new 'Ghostbusters' theme?
