New Constellation Named After David Bowie
Forget buying a commemorative star, how about getting an entire constellation!? David Bowie is being forever remembered by the MIRA Public Observatory as a constellation. The Belgian observatory mapped a constellation that consists of seven stars that form the shape of the lightning bolt from Bowie’s 1973 album “Aladdin Sane."
The constellation is not officially recognized by the International Astronomical Union, but it has been added to the Google Sky Map and it includes a feature that allows you to post messages and tag your favorite Bowie songs.
