The researchers found that those who drank the Montmorency tart cherry juice in the morning and at night were able to sleep more than an hour longer each night (averaging 84 minutes) compared to the placebo, and their sleep tended to be more efficient.
If you’ve had a hard time sleeping, give it a try. Though I will warn you, it messed with me a bit, I thought I woke up in the middle of the night. I couldn’t go back to bed, so I checked my e-mail messages and saw I got a message I was waiting on. I remember this vividly. I told myself I would reply back after I actually woke up for the day, so I went back to bed and slept hard until my alarm went off. After my first cup of coffee, I opened my laptop to respond to the message, there was no message. I checked my spam, my deleted files, everything; no message. It was a VERY realistic dream.
