On Monday, the top 10 finalists were revealed for Grandwich 2015. Yesterday, I had the opportunity to try my first one and OMG it was AMAZING!!! I mentioned that I wanted to try the Pulled Bacon Dutch Crunch from Bull's Head Tavern and that's exactly what I did when I got off work yesterday!

I walked over and I swear I was salivating on my way there. I sat at the bar ordered a Summer Shandy and patiently waited for my sandwich. I was so happy when it came out! It looked beastly which made my eyes go big and before I took a bite out of the sandwich I told the bartender to not judge me for the huge bite I was about to take. I think he understood LOL.

All the different flavors, the sweetness of the pulled pork and the spiciness of the jalapenos and sriracha aioli was the perfect blend. It was a messy sandwich but those are the best kinds!

These are all the ingredients in the sandwich: Marinated pulled pork belly bacon topped with avocado, lettuce, jalapenos, red cabbage slaw, tomatoes and a homemade dijon sriracha aioli served on a toasted homemade rosemary focaccia bun.

Ugh, I promise you it's as good as it sounds! Not to mention the chips served with it were delicious and crunchy! It's safe to say there wasn't a bite left on that plate.

I highly recommend the Pulled Bacon Double Crunch sandwich from Bull's Head Tavern. It is going to be a hard one to beat but I yet to try the rest. Hmmm... what should I have for lunch today?
