Movies In The Park 2014 Line Up Announced

This summer’s Movies In the Park will kick off on June 6 with Raiders of the Lost Ark. 

This summer’s “Films Through Time” film series at Ah-Nab-Awen Park will showcase movies set in different decades, according to a release from Downtown Grand Rapids, Inc.

The final week (Aug. 22) will be a double feature with a voters’ choice selection as well as Jurassic Park. Voting will begin the night of the first screening and will close July 11.

Here is the full schedule:

•    June 6: Raiders of the Lost Ark
•    June 20: Grease
•    July 11: Dreamgirls
•    July 25: The Rocky Horror Picture Show
•    August 8: Top Gun
•    August 22: Double Feature: Voters’ Choice and Jurassic Park

Downtown Grand Rapids, Inc. are still taking suggestions for the Voters’ Choice night. If you have any ideas of what they should show, be sure to let them know.

You can even get a copy of the poster yourself. Just stop down at the Downtown Grand Rapids, Inc office at 29 Pearl St. NW, Suite 1 in Downtown GR and they will also have some available at the first Movie in the Park showing of Raiders of the Lost Ark.
