Mosquito Festival

Last week I made a post about avoiding mosquitoes and apparently there are people out there who WANT to get bitten by mosquitoes. Crazy!

Russia has a 3-day festival in a town I cannot pronounce called the Russian Mosquito Festival. About 3,000 people attend and take part in odd events like the "Tastiest Girl" contest which women compete to see who can get the most mosquito bites in 20 minutes. WHAT?! LOL I'm literally laughing as I type this. This can't be real. But oddly enough it is. And let's not forget about the "Mosquito Parade."

The festival takes place this Friday through Sunday. Happy to say I won't be attending.
