Waking up in the morning can be difficult a bi***!! Everything in the morning sucks... your alarm clock, waking up, having to get ready and start the day when all you want to do is stay in your big comfy bed.

The Huffington Post put together a list of 7 bad habits that people do in the morning which we need to break otherwise it sets the precedence for a not-so-good day.

Seriously how many of us are guilty of doing this EVERY morning?! We all went that extra 5 or 10 minutes before we have to face the day but hitting the snooze button disrupts your sleep cycle. You also feel more tired as compared to if you just woke up right when your alarm went off.

In today's digital world it's hard not to check your phone to see if you have any missed calls, texts, e-mails, and of course, a swift check through your Facebook feed. However, research found that people who check their email more often are more stressed throughout the day compared to those who check it just 3 times a day.
As far as checking Facebook, don't do it because you'll compare yourself to your friends which can make you feel jealous or agitated.

Empty carbs, such as a muffin, gives you short-lived energy and you'll be sleepy and hungry before lunch time hits. Skip the sugar in the morning and add protein and fiber to your diet.

Muscles and joints can "stiffen" up overnight. Make sure to stretch those muscles out, and plus, not only will it increase your flexibility but stretching gives you an energy boost.
