Artists of all ages came out for the Monroe Center Chalk Flood and Street Fair on Saturday afternoon in Grand Rapids.

The weather cooperated and gave artists a chance to draw. The fair included music, food, drinks, family activities and shopping on the sidewalk. One block of Monroe Center was closed to traffic for the event.

The Monroe Center Chalk Flood and Street Fair was moved from spring to fall to time with the start of ArtPrize. ArtPrize begins September 23.
