Mom Leaves Baby On Roof Of Car – Drives Off – Says It’s Because She Was High

It's becoming more and more obvious to me that not everyone should be allowed to be a parent. In recent months, I've seen two different stories about pregnant women driving drunk, and now, I see this.

According to police in Phoenix, 19-year-old Catalina Clouser drove off early Saturday morning, forgetting that her 5-week-old baby was strapped in his carseat on the roof of the car. Witnesses found the baby in the middle of an intersection, still strapped into his carseat, and seemingly unharmed.

Authorities are saying that Catalina, her boyfriend, and a few of their friends had been smoking marijuana earlier at a local park.

Later that night, her boyfriend was arrested for suspicion of driving under the influence, and police say Clouser then went to the home of friends and smoked more marijuana because "she was upset".

The terrible mom left around midnight, and police say she apparently put the sleeping baby on the roof and drove off, forgetting he was there.

When asked why this happened, she admitted that it was probably because she had been smoking marijuana. She's been charged with a DUI and child abuse.
