Nothing much to like about these apples: Minnie Driver says a Good Will Hunting producer tried to edge her out of her Oscar-nominated role because she wasn't "hot enough."

On last night's (October 12) episode of Watch What Happens LiveDriver told Andy Cohen that her role as Skylar, the 1997 film's British Harvard undergrad, was protested by a backer of the film. And, were it not for the efforts of stars Matt Damon and Ben Affleck and director Gus Van Sant who all pushed for Driver's inclusion, Driver said the producer likely would have successfully edged her out.

Still, Driver's since come to understand one man's opinion is hardly reason to throw in the towel.

"I think I was together enough to know that hotness is a perception, and it's really a point of view, and this dude was no picnic to look at, so that's all right," she joked.

On a more serious note, Driver also opened up about her revelation on Pete Dominick's Sirius XM show Tuesday (October 11) that she was sexually assaulted in Greece when she was 17. She said she hadn't originally planned to share the story, but that she felt compelled to speak up in light of the current political climate, and accusations that Republican Presidential nominee Donald Trump might have a history of sexually assaulting women.

"I was genuinely made to feel by the local police...that if I hadn't been provocative and if I had just gone along with what this guy wanted me to do, then I wouldn't have gotten beaten up," she said.

"It's important to talk about it, now has never been a better time to speak up and for young women to feel like they have a voice," she added. "Nobody gets to grab you by anything unless you want them to."
