Minnesota Couple Arrested For Punishing 12-Year-Old With ‘Diaper Discipline’

In another "WTF were they thinking?" parenting moment, police say a Minnesota mother and her boyfriend shaved 12-year-old daughter's head and made her run up and down the street in a diaper because she wasn't getting good grades.

Monday night, a neighbor called the authorities after a crowd of roughly 50 people gathered in the Fridley (near Minneapolis) neighborhood to watch the girl (who was also wearing a tank top) run up and down the street. Police Lt. Mike Monsrud told the St. Paul Pioneer Press that the girl was crying and hysterical when an officer approached her.

The police arrested the couple, and they are currently being held in the Anoka County Jail. According to the lieutenant both of them were laughing on the way to jail and questioning why police got involved in the first place.

The girl and three younger children have been placed in foster care
