If you already hate the rush hour traffic, you're going to hate reading this because according to officials from the U.S. Department of Justice, freeway traffic is expected to get worse, nationwide.

KTAR News reports that:

Since there are more millennials entering the workforce than there are baby boomers leaving, DOT officials have projected that traffic on freeways nationwide will increase."

Although millennials drive less than their parents did at the same age, the demographic outweighs any other group in the country. Thus, causing an increase in traffic and a demand for alternatives to cars.

Maybe it's time to start planning a different route home or leave work an hour later to avoid  rush hour?

On behalf of the millennials, I apologize.
