Ann Arbor's Laith Al-Saadi continues to be the most unlikely favorite on NBC's The Voice.

The Blues guitarist doesn't look the the typical contestant on the show, but his deep voice and impressive guitar playing skills have moved him to the short list of favorites.

Last night, Al-Saadi admitted he was grateful to still be around on the show. 'I'm not the prettiest or the youngest', he said before his performance, 'so I'm thankful America has voted me through twice.'

Al-Saadi took Ed Sheeran's 'Make It Rain' to a new place, with a gospel tinged blues version that rocked the judges. Blake Shelton admitted that the judges often wonder what he will surprise them with week to week. His mentor on the show, Adam Levine, told Al-Saadi he was amazing and he loved him.
