Michigan Bans Powder Alcohol

Palcohol is a powder form of alcohol used to make vodka, rum and other drinks. If it sounds good to you, get ready to travel to get it.

WOOD-TV 8 reports Lt. Gov. Brian Calley signed legislation on Wednesday that will prohibit the sale or use of the powdered alcohol. Supporters of the law say Palcohol can be used to make extremely potent drinks, and there's also more risk of people misusing the powder to spike drinks

The ban will take effect in late January.
