Michael Buble Returns to Grand Rapids’ Van Arena for July 25 Concert
The Canadian singer has been on a marathon tour in support of his 2013 release, “To Be Loved,” and is making a Grand Rapids stop for the first time since 2010.
Tickets for the Van Andel performance go on sale at 10 a.m. Friday, May 2.
Bublé current tour is his biggest stage production to date and sold out 40 cities in 2013. His stage show is propelled by a string of smash hits, including his most recent single “Close Your Eyes,” “It’s A Beautiful Day,” “Haven’t Met You Yet,” “Home” and “Everything,” along with his interpretations of classics like “You Make Me Feel So Young” and “Young at Heart.”
“To Be Loved” is Bublé’s fourth consecutive No. 1 album. His last CD, the multi-platinum “Christmas,” was the second biggest selling album of 2011 after Adele.
His re-issued deluxe digital and physical edition of “To Be Loved” is to include three bonus tracks: the Ronettes’ classic “Be My Baby;” a swing mix of Bublé’s hit single “It’s a Beautiful Day” and the standard “Melancholy Baby.”
The tour closes out with 13 shows, including the Grand Rapids stop and back-to-back dates in early July at Madison Square Garden in New York.
“This tour continues to be a phenomenal ride with fantastic audiences everywhere,” he said in a statement. “I’m thrilled to be back in the States to wrap up these last few shows.”
Tickets for the Grand Rapids concert are available at Van Andel Arena and DeVos Place convention center box offices, Ticketmaster ticket centers, online at Ticketmaster.com, or charge by phone at (800) 745-3000.
