The Humane Society of West Michigan brought in a dog that you will instantly fall in love with! Rosalina is a 2-year-old Dachshund Terrier who's a little smaller in size but so full of life! She is super friendly and will greet you with kisses almost immediately. She is also very well behaved and would do great with other dogs or in a family with children.

Rosalina did previously test positive for heartworms but she has been treated and cured. However, to make sure she doesn't get them again the shelter requires you to purchase 6 months worth of preventative care while the humane society covers the other 6 months.

Also, the Humane Society of West Michigan has new hours! Starting June 5th, they will be open on Sundays from 11a-4p. The shelter was not open on Sunday's before but this extra addition helps add flexibility to peoples' schedules. So the Humane Society will now be open Tuesday - Friday 12-7p and Saturday - Sunday 11a-4p. Closed Monday's.

With summer just around the corner make sure you get the kids signed up for Summer Camp! Camp begins June 13th and there will be morning and afternoon sessions with a variety of classes, for different age groups, for your child to choose from. For more information and to register click here.
