Meet Mayo The Cat! She’s Helping Us Raise Reach Our “Sinko-De-Mayo” Goal!
Say hello to Princess Mayo! She is a working cat who has been adopted by the Humane Society of West Michigan. Yup, that’s right, this little kitty has a job!
So Mayo is helping us raise money for our “Sinko-De-Mayo” fundraiser for the Humane Society of West Michigan. We are hoping to raise $5,000 by June 30th so that we can get Connie to dunk her head in mayo! You can get all the details of the fundraiser and donate here.
Mayo was a feral cat who was found as a stray and surrendered to the Humane Society of West Michigan in May of 2015. Now, you might be thinking that since she was found in May that is the reason her name was Mayo. That’s not quite the reason why, although that wouldn’t a bad reason for it, she is named Mayo because she was found with her head stuck in a Mayo Jar.
But since she was taken in by the Humane Society of West Michigan, she has been doing much better and getting pretty personable with the staff and visitors!
