The Humane Society of West Michigan brought in a 1-year-old female bunny named Kit Kat. Kit Kat is a pretty light brown/cinnamon color who is spayed and ready to go home! Like most rabbits, Kit Kat is a little shy at first so if you decide to adopt her give her some time to adjust. Before you know it she'll be cuddling and hopping around.

She is also a bigger bunny but that just means there's more of Kit Kat to love!

Keep in mind, bunnies aren't easier to take care of than a cat or a dog but an in-house bunny expert can help you with everything you need and need to know when adopting a rabbit.

The Humane Society is hosting a series of behavior seminars and the first one is Monday, April 18th from 6:15-7:30 pm. A behavioral expert will be hosting a class on stress and anxiety related issues in dogs. If your dog is shy, anxious, or has separation anxiety this is a class that could help you out. You can call the shelter at 616.453.8900 to pre-register. A small donation would help but it is not required.

In May - Hard to Handle Behavioral Problems in Dogs

June - Common Behavior Problems in Cats

To pre-register for any of these classes call the Humane Society of West Michigan at 616.453.8900.
