Every week, the folks from the Humane Society Of West Michigan bring in a new furry friend to be named as "Wendy's Pet Of The Week". This week, Trudy brought Hershel in to visit. Not only is he adorable, but he's quite the special little pup.

Hershel is a one-year-old chihuahua/Pomeranian mix, and he only has three legs. That's right. Three legs. When Hershel was brought to the Humane Society, one of his hind legs was badly injured and unfortunately had to be amputated. But, you'd never know that Hershel's a tripod by the way he gets around! And he's extremely affectionate and loving and would do well in any home. (Please note that due to his surgery, etc. Hershel has not yet been house trained, so that's something you'd have to work on with him).

You can find out more about Hershel on the Humane Society's website, or by calling them at 616-453-8900.
