Every Wednesday, the folks from the Humane Society of West Michigan stop by and bring me a new friend to be named as “Wendy’s Pet Of The Week”. This week, Trude from the Humane Society stopped by with Florida (or Flo-Rida. However you'd like to pronounce it).

After learning a little bit about Florida, I decided to see if she knew any tricks! Turns out, not so much.

Florida is a beautiful, 7-year old cat.  She’s very calm and would make a wonderful addition to any home. She is spayed, front paw declawed, and has had all her vaccinations and is micro-chipped.  She’s ready to go! She's also free to the right home because she is part of the Silver Paws Program at the Humane Society.

The Humane Society is also having a cat/small critter special through the summer.  It’s “name your own price” time! Find the pet you would like, cat or small critter, and you can take them home after paying whatever price you would like to pay!

Summer camp weeks have some openings for your kids.  It would be a great chance for your kids to be up-close and personal with all of the pets at the Humane Society.
