Two cute, 8-week old kittens, came to visit me today! Best start to a workday ever!

Trudy Ender, from the Humane Society of West Michigan, and Holly from the Bissell Pet Foundation, brought Daisy and Cupcake in to visit.

The two kittens are being spayed this week and will be ready for adoption by this weekend. They will have had all their vaccinations and will be hoping for new homes.

Because spring is kind of "kitten season", the Humane Society has plenty of cats and kittens to adopt. So, with the sponsorship and support of the Bissell Pet Foundation, both the Humane Society of West Michigan and the Kent County Animal Shelter are having a Free Pet Adoption Saturday, this Saturday, April 25. As a matter of fact, it’s not only for cats, but dogs as well. FREE CATS, FREE DOGS, this Saturday at both the shelter and Humane Society. The only fee anyone would have to pay would the the $12 dog license fee. Free pets, this Saturday! How can you beat that.

You can get all the information on the Humane Society website or call (616) 453-8900.
