Meet Candy – Christine’s Pet of the Week!

Candy [Humane Society of West Michigan][/caption]Candy is a 4-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier mix with a beautiful white coat. Candy has been with the Humane Society of West Michigan since December 16 and is looking for her forever home.

Just like her name she is full of sweetness and is known for slipping in kisses at any chance she gets! She is an active dog so she would love a family who wouldn't mind taking her on long walks and play fetch with her.

Also, any kid who is an animal lover will love the Humane Society's Spring Break and Summer Camps! The camps are fun and educational for kids 5 through 17. According to the Humane Society of West Michigan, kids will learn:

...animal safety, how to be a responsible pet owner, shelter operations, careers in animal-related fields, and animals with interesting and helpful jobs."
