Meet Buck The Pot Belly Pig – Wendy’s Pet Of The Week
Every week, the Humane Society Of West Michigan brings in a new pet for me to meet. Now, most of the time it’s a dog, or a cat, but sometimes I get something a little out of the ordinary. Like this morning, when I got to meet Buck the Pot Belly Pig!
Buck is only a few months old right now, but he is super adorable. Right now, he’s super cuddly, and loves to cuddle right up next to people. He may not stay that way always. But, he’ll make a wonderful pet for the right person or family.
Pot Belly Pigs are inside pets believe it or not. And you can train one just like a dog. They can be house trained, walk on a leash, and really love to be around people. They may grow to be around 50 to 60 pounds, and would be about the height of a Beagle. But, you have to be careful what you feed them or they could easily take over your home.
If you’re interested in adopting Buck, you can always stop by and visit him at the Humane Society, or check him out on their website!
