Every week, the Humane Society of West Michigan brings in a new pet to be featured as "Wendy's Pet Of The Week". This week Tammy, from the Humane Society brought Brownie into the studio.

Brownie is a one-and-a half-year-old Havana-brown bob tail, and certainly looking for a good home. His owners had to surrender him, so he’s a little lonely. He would love to have a warm, loving new home for the holidays.

This weekend, it’s Home for the Holidays at the Humane Society. This Saturday, December 7, cats like Brownie will be completely free! Kittens are only $25,   dogs are only $40, and puppies $99.  They’ll be open from 10:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.

In addition to the pets for adoption, you can buy Christmas trees and wreaths. Also, you’re asked to bring a gift for the animals if possible.  It could be food, toys, whatever. You can find a list of what the Humane Society needs here, or give them a call at 616-453-8900.
