Fast food meets fast thinking.

Pedro Viloria was working the drive-thru at a McDonald's in Doral, Fla. on Tuesday when he jumped out the window to come to the aid of a customer who had passed out while behind the wheel.

The woman, who was an off-duty police officer with her two kids in tow, paid with no issues, but Viloria noticed she wasn't breathing properly before she took her foot off the brake, causing her car to move up.

Viloria, 22, literally jumped into action, hopping out the window and positioning himself in front of the car before ordering her children to call 911.

"I ran as fast as I could, put myself in front of the car," he said. Further heroics weren't needed because the car stopped moving when it tapped into a curb. Another woman and a cop who just so happened to be at the restaurant then came over to help the woman, who was taken to a hospital.

Viloria has no regrets about putting his life on the line. "She's alive and that's enough, if I had to die to save that woman I would have," he said. "My brain was on hero mode."

The McDonald's owner was certainly not surprised by Viloria's quick thinking. "He is an excellent employee, so it didn't surprise me that he took immediate action and jumped through a window to help save this woman," he said.
