Just days after releasing a new single, "Right Now," Mary J. Blige has announced the release date of her next album, "Mary J. Blige: The London Sessions."

The singer's upcoming set, recorded overseas, is expected to arrive in stores on Dec. 2 via Capitol Records.

“It’s all about the London music scene and I’m so excited to have been part of it, to record my album,” Blige said in a statement. “The songs are fun, therapeutic and soulful. This is a beautiful change for me and I’m proud of what we have done here.”

Aside from executive producer Rodney “Darkchild” Jerkins, the set will feature contributions from United Kingdom talent, including Disclosure, Emili Sandé, Naughty Boy

and Sam Smith, among others.

To get fans excited, Blige's collaborators revealed what she has planned in an official album trailer, posted on Pitchfork.

”The 'London Sessions' is, number one, the bravest thing; and, number two, just so honest,” said Smith, who co-wrote lead single, “Therapy,” with Blige.

Disclosure said: “It’s the reason that people like Mary are so successful. They’re just not afraid to change what they do completely.”
