You know that feeling when you're late for work. You're rushing, you're flustered... you hit every red light on the way... everything that can go wrong, does.

But, realistically, what can you do besides hope for the best and that your boss doesn't notice? Maybe what this guy did...

According to The Smoking Gun, a 31-year-old Minnesota man was arrested for stealing a city bus. His excuse? He told police it was "because he was late for work."

Greg Jennrich was on his way to work when he stopped at a gas station. However, he soon realized that he had locked his keys inside the car. He was worried he'd be late to work so he stole the city bus, that was also at the gas station, while the driver was on her break.

When the driver discovered that her bus was gone she called police and thanks to GPS, they were able to capture Jennrich within 8 minutes... on his way to work.

Jennrich is currently being held on a $5,000 bond and faces up to five years in prison.

He was still late to work.

What caused you to be late for work?
