Man Divorced His New Bride After a Few Minutes Because She Wouldn’t Stop Texting

This will probably go down as the shortest marriage in history (Yes, even shorter than Kim Kardashian's 72-day marriage).

The Gulf News reports that a man in Saudi Arabia divorced his wife a FEW MINUTES after their ceremony. What can happen in that short amount of time? The cell phone. It's always the darn phone!

Apparently, the man took his bride to the hotel where they were going to consummate the marriage in their honeymoon suite but she was too distracted texting family and friends who were congratulating her.

Her groom tried to get closer with her and become more intimate, but he was shocked when she ignored him, not responding to his words and action."

When the groom asked her if her friends were more important than him she responded with a "Yes." Things got heated between the couple (and not in a good way) and the man left the hotel and filed for divorce!

No word if the ex-bride has put her phone down, but I highly doubt it.
