If you typically travel through the intersection of Fuller Avenue and Michigan Street, get ready for some major disruptions to your daily commute in Grand Rapids.

WZZM-13 reports the intersection will be closed for a complete concrete overhaul for two weeks in April.

The exact dates of the closure have yet to be decided.

When construction begins, traffic heading southbound on Fuller, coming from I-196, should exit at College Avenue or the East Beltline Avenue. It's suggested that Michigan Street traffic should use Fulton and Leonard streets as a detour, and Fuller detours will use either College or Diamond avenues.
