Maggie, Channel 95-7 Community Kid, Visits The Studio
For quite a while now, we’ve been asking you to send in the names and stories of kids doing great things in the community to nominate them to be a Channel 95-7 Community Kid. One of our very first Community Kids, Maggie Hartman, came in to visit today (and claim her $50 Meijer gift card), and we gave her a little tour of the station.
Not only did Maggie get the grand tour (ok, so it’s not that grand of a tour), she also got to be DJ for the day and introduce a song on the air!

Maggie is only seven, but she’s already well on her way to making a big difference in the world.
A few years ago she decided to start selling bouquets of flowers that she picked and use the money to buy Christmas gifts for less-fortunate kids. She even has her own roadside stand!
She’s quite the enterprising kid, too. She even has her own Facebook page!
