Since the dawn of time, music has been thought to be a huge part of being human.  Music transcends race, religion, and apparently time.

In the 1950s, a tablet was found during an excavation of the ancient city of Ugarit (located in modern day Syria).  This tablet contained what archaeologists determined were musical notes for a sammûm, a nine-stringed ancient harp, and lyrics to go along with the melody.

The video above is an interpretation of the song by Michael Levy.  Pretty cool to hear a song that is almost 3,500 years old!
