Lion Tries to Pounce On Little Boy But Slams Into Glass [Video]

You know those times where you walk into a glass door thinking it was open? Don't lie you know it's happened to you. Well, that's EXACTLY what happened here... but to a lion.

A video has gone viral of a little boy at a zoo in Japan who turns his back on a lion enclosure. You see the wild cat in a crouched position staring at the toddler. As soon as he turns his back the lion goes running towards him... ready to attack his prey.

THANKFULLY, the glass stopped the lion as he ran full force into it. He is NOT happy. He scratches on the glass trying to figure out why he can't get through. When he makes that realization he just casually walks away. Defeated.

A scene like this would send chills down anyone's spine. You can see the boy is a little frightened and jumps off the ledge but stands there looking at the lion with curiousity.

The Daily Mail says that according to one of the zookeepers, the lion usually gets excited when he sees children because he wants to play with them. Uhh.. play? Sure... if that's what you want to call it.

Bottom line, you never turn your back on a wild animal.
