Rapper Lil Wayne is planning to release his new album 'I Am Not a Human Being II' in February, but his album after that could be his last, the Young Money honcho told MTV News.

In an interview with correspondent Sway, the 'No Worries' rapper said he plans to retire after dropping 'Tha Carter V.' The reason? With a 20 year-long rap career under his belt, the Young Money honcho believes it's time for him to pursue his other passions, like skateboarding and his clothing line Trukfit.

"I know y'all want me around for a little bit, [but] 'Tha Carter V' is my last album," Wayne said. "I've been rapping since I was 8 years old; I'm 30 now. That's a long time, and I like to do so many more things, and when I like to do something, I end up loving to do it real quick. And I love to do something, I'm fully focused on it and it only, and music sometimes is not that it."

Now we have heard this "retirement" thing before from veteran rhyme-slingers like Too Short and Jay-Z. Both are legends in their own right, yet both of them have un-retired themselves a couple of times.

Tunechi insists that he's serious about hanging up the mic after the 'Carter V' album. "You have to think about something, [Jay-Z]'s first album came out when he was… how old?" he asks. "He was a grown man. I signed my first contract at 11 [years old] and went platinum at 14 [years old]. I'm 30 now. Thank God I haven't put out an album that hasn't went platinum."

"To keep going, to just keep it going like that, not only am I being greedy, I'm foolin' myself to think that it will continue to be that great," he adds.

So, basically, Wayne doesn't want to keep on rapping past his prime. He wants to retire on a high note and not release mediocre albums that don't stand up to his previous releases.

This sounds like a smart move to us. But what do you think?
