Here's a YouTube Channel you HAVE to check out.

I came across the above video as I was scrolling through Reddit today, and then stumbled upon an entire channel of this friendly woman, in her 90s, named Clara, showing people how to cook. Sadly, it looks like Clara passed away in 2013, but her legacy lives on YouTube.

In the video above, Clara shows us how to make a Great Depression breakfast. The small breakfast includes fresh ground coffee and made from scratch cookies, but there's more to it than cooking.

As Clara is showing us how to make the various Depression era foods, she shares her stories about growing up during the Great Depression.

I'll be honest, I had no idea how to make sugar cookies before I saw this.

This is just scratching the surface, check out more of her videos here.

Not only are her stories great, but these are some great videos to watch if you find yourself needing to cut back with spending. Solid advice and great cooking from Clara!
