Lady Gaga Naked Sketch Sells For $30,000

Some lucky (and likely wealthy) little monster shelled out $30,000 for the naked sketch of Lady Gaga that crooner (and Gaga’s ‘The Lady is a Tramp’ duet partner) Tony Bennett crafted, according to GossipCop. The charcoal sketch, which Bennett drew as part of the Mother Monster’s January 2012 cover of Vanity Fair, was up for auction for charity via eBay.

Something tells us that this sketch will certainly increase in value over time, so 30 grand will seem like a small price to pay down the road. It also reminds us of the famed portrait that Jack Dawson sketched of Rose DeWitt in ‘Titanic.’

Bennett signed the piece, which features Gaga laying on her belly, with her long blonde locks tumbling across her breasts while giving off a pouty, sexy stare. The portrait is signed “Benedetto,” which is Bennett’s real last name and that which he uses for his visual pieces such as this.

The $30,000 that the winner paid for the sketch was donated to Exploring the Arts, which Bennett founded with his wife to support arts education in public schools. Portions of the proceeds will also go to Gaga’s Born This Way Foundation, which works to elevate self-esteem in youth. She runs the recently launched organization with the original Mother Monster — her mom, Cynthia Germanotta.

We’re wondering what the winning bidder will do with the sketch. Frame it, perhaps?
