It's time for another Thursday edition of Knightlines, celebrity gossip and things you need to know... 

• Kris Jenner’s new FOX chat show has reportedly been cancelled after its initial six-week trial run. There is no chance’ she will be picked up for a second season.
• Michael Douglas and Catherine Zeta Jones have separated. The pair, who have two children together, confirmed yesterday that they have separated to ‘evaluate and work on their marriage.’
• A former Scientologist has claimed she was among a number of women ‘auditioned’ to be the future wife of actor Tom Cruise after his split from Penelope Cruz in 2004. Anette Iren Johansen claims she was interviewed in Copenhagen in 2005 before the star’s marriage to actress Katie Holmes. She alleges she was phoned two weeks later by a man from ‘Golden Era Productions’ in California who asked her if she had any ‘sexual perversions’ to which she replied no. Ms Johansen, who describes herself as ‘Norwegian Adventurer, Cornet Player, Chemist and Scientology Whistleblower’, left the group three years ago and now blogs about her experiences. On her website, she says: ‘I speak out about the Church of Scientology to give a voice for all those who suffer in silence.
• Dustin Hoffman 75-year-old acting legend Dustin Hoffman proved that he is well on the road to recovering from a recent bout of cancer on Tuesday when he went for a walk with his beloved wife of 32 years Lisa. He said; “The cancer was detected early and removed surgically.”
• Attention “Glee” fans. The third episode of this new season, entitled the Quarterback, will reportedly see the characters told of Finn’s death at the start and then focus on how individuals grieve for their lost friend. Lea’s character will reportedly be spared a major role in the episode but will appear during the final scenes.
